Nose is nice with mostly floral/earthy hops (saaz i think). mmm, this is smooth and tasty. Starts out semi-sweet with a little citrus, some mild biscuity malt, and some VERY nice earthy hops with a touch of honey and lemon in the aftertaste. Body is light/medium, yeast is clean and really allow the malts and hops to take center stage. Carbonation is high. This is outstanding and perhaps my new favorite Pilsner. If only it were priced as low as the Urquell, this would be my session Pils! thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA

Light, grassy hop nose, with hints of grain in the background. Has a mild palate, with a light saaz/grassy flavor. The malt presence is bisquity and pleasant. Easy going and highly drinkable. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Pours clear gold-amber with a two-finger white head. Very grainy aroma with a good bit of sweet, earthy German hops. Flavor begins a little bland, just faint bready malt. There’s a small hop bite in the middle, before the beer finishes almost like it started. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Pours a clear gold with a slight amber touch. Nose is caramel and sweet with a strong malty edge. Flavor is a bit smoky with a thick mature sweet tone. Feel is bordering on a slightly syrupy side. Low carbonation. Drinakble, yeah. But the low carbonation and the syrupy feel kind of kill it. I didn’t appreciate it that much in the long run. TrevorFloyd (309), Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2007 A nice crisp pale yellow color, the flavor starts with some faintly sweet malt rounded out with some grassy hop notes. Finish is kinda thin, as though a large degree of the flavor drops off. Still, enjoyable.
