Orlando, Fl. - Knightly Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, murky. sports a soft khaki head that sticks around and leaves a good trailing of lacing. Aroma of baked brown bread, some bananas - warm and inviting. Flavor of molasses, candied sugar, toffee raisins, and prunes. Thick, rich mouthfeel, very enjoyable

Jun 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light brown body with ruby hues and a rocky head. Aroma is sweet caramel and pale malts, some candi sugar. The nose is simlar to the flavor but more detectable hop notes. Alright.

Jun 10, 2008 This strong, aromatic ale is about as Scotch as I am. Cloudy amber pour with strong alcohol and fruit notes, the only way to enjoy this is slowly and at the right temperature.

May 30, 2008 Bottle from By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Dark amber body with a fluffy one-finger white head. Nutty, sweet, grainy, spicy hopped nose. Caramel creamy, thick, rich. Highly quaffable and delicious! Great end of the evening brew.

May 26, 2008 Draft at Novare Rez in Portland - Poured a darkish amber in color with a small tannish head. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a fair amount of spicy hops mixed in. Flavor has that distinctive smoked peat undertone along with a medium sweetness and a surprisingly, but welcome, aggressive hops flavor and bitterness. Has a bit of a "strange" off flavor in the finish, but good none the less...
