Clear yellow, no head. Sticky apple juice with alcohol and bubbles! Very very bad.

Bottle. Some sourness carbonation not too heavy. Artificial sweetness. A lot better than many mass produced ciders but by no means scrumpy.

Draft. Clean apple aroma. Apple juice appearance. Moderate apple flavor a bit on the dry side but goes down smooth. Probably the best widely available cider.

A had a few of these brought back to me from a friend’s recent trip to the uk. It was my favourite mass produced cider when I was over there myself, but I would like to try some of the smaller ones that are highly rated and recommended. As is, Jack is dry and sparkling, rather sweet, not too tart, and very drinkable. I’m not sure what else to say about ciders in general, but I know what I like, and I know this one is pretty good.

Keg, Golden and carbonated. Reasonable mass produced cider, quite appley with a bitterness, drier than most. Refreshing and clean.

Nice apple aroma, light and fruity. No off aromas, just a bit weak. Sparkling yellow gold clear with no head whatsoever. Medium watery palate with medium-high carbonation. Nice apple taste, medium acidity and sweetness. Not bitter at all. Clean finish, and pleasant apple after. Refreshing but watery. An OK cider.

Deep gold colour with a thin and quickly diminishing fizzy white head. Sweet apple and brown sugar aroma. Dry and sour apple flavour, slight bitter finish.
