Commercial Description:
This is an American style amber ale with distinctive hop flavor and aroma. The hop character is a result of the blending of Mt. Hood and Willamette hops. It is highlighted by the light amber color and balanced by malt undertones. We recommend this beer for those who enjoy hop characteristics, but don't want to be overwhelmed by them.

Overall, this is a fairly average amber, with caramel and brown sugar characteristics coming through most strongly on this copper brew. I give the brewer credit, though, for working in more--and more balanced--floral hops that I would have expected from the genre.

Bottle: Amber colored pour with little to no head. Slight hoppy aroma with hints of caramel, nicely sweet. Sweet, malty finish. I enjoyed this.

Pours golden brown with very little white head. One of the most boring ambers I have ever had. Very disappointing and weak amber ale.

12 oz. bottle - pours thin amber with slight white head; aromas and flavors are very thin and mild; standardly average

Moderatley hoppy aroma with a faint toasted malts. Amber in color with a thin head. Very light flavor, the main flavor is a caramel malt Fat Tire-ish thing, but not much else. Very clean mouthfeel and finish, but this one is thin and boring.

Sweet aroma and very apparant hop presence. I like the clean cherrywood look, but the head was thin and left quickly. Very soft and subtle flavor, more of a beer to drink with peanuts in front of the tv. Great for a party where you can introduce craft beer to macro-zombies.

Bottle: Hazy copper brown color with a very small white head. Nose is hoppy and a bit sour, some maltiness. Taste is softer citrus hops leaving a wet mouthful. Malty and rye? A little sour and grainy presence turned me off.

Draft at the brewpub. Slightly cloudy medium amber with gold highlights. Scant white head. Biscuit and a bit of grassy sweetness on the nose. More of the same on the mid-palate after a feeble puff of an attack. Light malt sugar clinging desperately to the finish, but it’s a goner.
