Amber in color this was an average at best amber ale. Was light in flavor and the hops was almost non decetable. This was a weak version of a amber ale. The malts where just not there. Better job next time guys. terapenguin (11), USA

Aroma is fairly weak, mildly of caramel and maybe hops. Flavor is similar, with a little nuttiness. A bit watery. Not bad, but not good either. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA

Don’t know if it was a bad draw or something, but I would not put that in my mouth again. OldMrCrow (1198), Seattle, Washington, USA

On tap at Atlas in Seattle.
Pours a warm dark amber; the aroma is mildly hopped, hinting at caramel. Flavor is straightfoward and frankly rather boring; ever-so-slightly pecan-shell nutty, mild hops, some caramelized sugar.
Plenty drinkable but not worth seeking out.

My second encounter - on tap at the Hi Life in Ballard - was somewhat more favorable. (Just about every beer I’ve had at Atlas has been stale and/or overcarbonated, so perhaps that was part of the problem). I got more fruity tones from the beer this time, gently sweet orange and malt-driven apple. This go-around I found it pleasantly sessionable. I’d call it at about 7/3/7/3/13=3.3. I’ll split the difference in the ratings above. Malakin (465), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

The sweet caramel flavor doesn’t taste particularly malty though. The nose is a bit better because the caramel is more pleasant, more malty, though the hops is still floral. Medium bodied initially, thinning out a bit in the finish. Medium amber in color and very hazy. The half inch tall, light tan head settles to a ring. Another fairly mediocre Scuttlebutt beer. Clear medium redish/amber with excellent head and lacing. Middle of the road malt and hop balance with a medium body and feel. Slightly bitter trailer.
