Nice lacing noted after a couple of sips. Aroma is pleasant and piney with a slight sweetness. Medium body with great malt backbone and a nice hop presence. Grassy and sweet. Really up my alley for an ipa. I like them with some maltiness. Very nice finish. MrRoss (617), Delta, British Columbia, Canada

The body was an orangey-sort of mix, not a usual IPA hue, underneath a short-lived thin, off-white head. Aroma was better, showing off lots of hop but not in an overpowering was. The taste, however, was a different animal, with lots of hops in play but not so much as be a detriment. Mouthfeel and finish were both quite proper. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2009 Pours a dull orange with a large frothy head. Noticeable pine and floral notes immediately. Fresh hops are in abundance. Almost a little honey as well. Taste is well hopped with some pungent grass and herbal notes. a battle of sweet and bitterness near the end. Really nice!" | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Love the rusty-orange color. Bold, Canadian-IPA-like malts. Cakey, but with a mild sweetness. Citrusy hops. Lively carbonation, probably too lively. Moderate bitterness. More citric bite. Decent beer, yet unexciting. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Pours a nice amber orange with thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops ever so slight, but dulled compared to other non-floral hops. Flavor at first was extremely different for an IPA, but came back somewhat, but defniitely has it’s own character in the IPA world. JAXSON (247), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head and lots of sticky lacing. The aroma is sweet citrus hops and light caramel malts. The flavor is very nice; smooth and hospitable citrus hops, a bit of pine, light malts. Easygoing and nice. Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA
