Mildly aggressive hops flavor (nice). Finishes with a lovely hoppy bitterness. This is one IPA I can dig... chokmah33 (118), San Luis Obispo, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Aromas of spicy pine resin hops, sour apple. Sweet malts with a tad of smoky.
Flavors of moderate perfumey bitter hops (grapefruit) balanced by sweeter cracker + carmel malts. Bitter builds in the finish.
Palate is very astringent, fairly dry.
A simple IPA that should be exemplary.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium light tan head and lots of carbonation. Hoppy aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Nice hoppy/fruity flavor with an earthy/malty undertone. Aftertaste is bitter, but not bad if you like that sort of thing (I do). I’d like to pair this brew with a quality (German) bratwurst, red cabbage and pan-fried potatoes. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA

Aroma is up front citrus hops and malt. Flavor is a earthy and fruity hop burst with some cereal grain and a bit of nuts. Finishes much more bitter than expected, peaks at about a 7. Very nicely done. AdamGott (190), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA
