| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2007 12 ounce bottle. An okay IPA. Somewhat bland. Bitter like grapefruit. The flavor and aroma differ from one another—flavor favoring grapefruit, the aroma leaning more toward orange—but it’s not bad.
Somewhat hazy orange in color. The head didn’t hang around for very long.
This is nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t turn it down if offered a bottle. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2007 Pous orange, slightly hazy with a a thin white head. Candy sweet citrus nose, full of tangerine and light grapefruit. This IPA felt a bit thin on the palate, but nothing awful. The malt sweetness wasn’t very strong, but this IPA had more flavor hops then bittering hops so it didn’t matter. Crisp and bitter finish. Nice IPA that sides more with the English IPAs on the "not kick your palate in the nuts with a swift foot of IBUs" kinda mentality. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 7, 2007 Bottle: Clear copper with a small head. Hoppy aromas, but not too strong. The flavor shows a unique combo of perfume and bitterness and even though the alcohol is only 5.25%, you can still pick it up. The finish is thin and powerfully bitter! Not my favorite IPA, but still enjoyable! footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Bottle from Batkins. Bold hop aroma is exactly right. And it was a great companion with my supper last night and
it left some bitterness on the tongue. Seems that this is underrated in my mind. It was one sided as it was only hops to me but boy those hops. bhensonb (4341), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Aroma of citrus hop underlaid with malt. Hazy apricot amber color with a nice lite white head. Starts with citrus hop, gets a shot of malt, gets a bit thin, the hop returns, and then there seems to be a stand off between a bit of malt and substantial hop. Smooth finish with medium mouthfeel. Excellent. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2006 22 oz. bottle, courtesy of Old_Mr_Crow, thanks! Pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head that leaves spotty lace as it diminishes. Aroma of oranges and sweet toasty malts, green apple, floral hops, pollen, honey and grapefruit juice as well. Flavor is reminiscent of juicy citrus fruits, toasty and toffee malts, alfalfa, hints of pine and spruce with grapefruit in the finish. Light to medium body, very smooth with easy carbonation. Much more than I expected! BJP2006 (35), Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2006 22 oz bomber pours a deep copper colour, decent head minimal laceing. that was abourt all that was right no nose to speak of but plenty of off bitter from the hops and no malt to hold it up. I have had this beer before and it was not like this dunno maybe a bad bottle.
