Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a nice sized head on top. Aroma is hops, grapefruit and malt. Not quite as strong of a smell you would normally get out of IPAs. Flavor is grapefruit, pine, and water. Not a lot of flavor in this beer. Definitely needs more hops to be a true IPA, especially here in the Pacific Northwest. More of an American Pale Ale to my tastes.

had a few of these over the weekend in seattle. most were out of the bottle so i’m not enitely sure of the color. typical cascade mealy nose. flavors on the palate puch a metallic bitter flavor that gains as you drink. a flacid back bone of malt. more of a pale ale. not robust enough or hopped enough for a pacific norhtwest ipa.

Botted. Pours a hazy copper with a lacy light yellow head. Aroma of grapefruit and malt. Medium body and carbonation, a bit watery in places. The taste starts with a hint of toffee sweetness, then some fruit. Lingering bitter finish bordering on soapy.

On tap at Brewery/Restaurant. Kind of a dark copper color with thin head. The aroma was tough to pick up. Maybe it’s the restaurant and HVAC breeze. I could just pick up some citrus hops. Really nothing else. The taste was bright grapefruit hops and some pine. It wasn’t a lot of hops for an IPA and there really wasn’t the OG I expect out of an IPA either. There was some light maltiness to help balance out the hop side. From the taste it seems more like a Pale. A little weak for an IPA. Regardless, tasty beer.

A dark orange body with an off white head. The aroma was grapefruit with some toast and almonds. There was plenty of the classic IPA scent. The taste was burnt toast with lots of grapefruit. The grapefruit notes were fairly soft. This was nice and hoppy with a medium body.

12 oz. Bottle. Pours a medium pale hue with a fluffy white head and sticky lacing. Sweet malt, citrus, and earth in the nose. Grapefruit and malt that is well balanced with a lingering bitterness. Medium body. Well made beer.

Bottle. Nice copper color with virtually no head. Nose of citrus, light bread and pine....but not overwhelming. Taste of grapefruit and lemon with a nice bitterness of hops. Medium bodied, but mine have very little in terms of carbonation, not sure if it’s the bottle or the beer’s style, but though it could use a bit more. That was the only bottle, so no way to test again.

On tap at the brewery. Copper coloured. Hop complexity and stonefruit give way to a bitter finish with some alcoholic notes.
