| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2006 Orange beer with a slight haze. Nice grapefruit aroma with a slight onion note. Well balanced and clean beer. The bitterness is there to remind you it is an IPA but it doesn’t linger. Very plesant and drinkable, it is nice to find a IPA that is hoppy without massive alcohol content. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2006 This is exactly the opposite of the Hoptopia. Being sweet with resiny hops, this is more of a breadcrust dryer maltiness, with much more bittering hops. Nicely balanced, with a great dry lingering finish. Doughy malt quickly gives way to a citric metallic hop flavor, classic Cascade hop family style. Tinges of bready malt attempt to penetrate a veneer of mouthcoating resin astringency. Lasting bitterness and astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium, rather dry. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA
