Bottle. Nice IPA, true West Coast style. Aromas of flowers and citrus, flavors of grepfruit, lemon and bitter hoppiness albeit not harsh. Medium-bodied, quite satisfying.

On tap at Latona. Dark copper with medium head. Not a big aroma. Nice piney hop taste. Balanced well. Bitter finish. A bit soapy. Solid IPA.

Orange beer with a slight haze. Nice grapefruit aroma with a slight onion note. Well balanced and clean beer. The bitterness is there to remind you it is an IPA but it doesn’t linger. Very plesant and drinkable, it is nice to find a IPA that is hoppy without massive alcohol content.

This is exactly the opposite of the Hoptopia. Being sweet with resiny hops, this is more of a breadcrust dryer maltiness, with much more bittering hops. Nicely balanced, with a great dry lingering finish.

22oz. bottle. Dark orange with a small white head. Sweet floral hop aromatics. Doughy malt quickly gives way to a citric metallic hop flavor, classic Cascade hop family style. Tinges of bready malt attempt to penetrate a veneer of mouthcoating resin astringency. Lasting bitterness and astringency in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium, rather dry.

Sampled early Dec ’05. Hazy amber pour. Sweet malt aroma, with plenty of grassy hops. Flavors were malty and some fruity, with more grassy and some citrusy hops, and a moderate bitter finish. Medium to light bodied.

Sweet flavor is fruity and sugary. Malty flavor is light with no middle flavor. Bitter finish. Thin and watery.
