Bottled. Poured clear orangey-golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up tart, wet grains and vinegar upfront, which really threw me off.. some tart lemon zest as well.. I don’t think this was supposed to be sour. The flavor was, not surprisingly, sour..vinegar, light fruits, and lemon were responsible.. some grainy notes and dusty hops as well.. finished sour and salty with lime character. Light-bodied and way too sour on the palate.. nothing was right here.

Hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Rather floral in aroma, with just a hints of oats, wintergreen and citrus. As it sets the aromas seem to remind me of stomach acid. This and a bit zippy in feel. Very little malt to be found, a touch of key lime. A dry herbal flavor sticks to the tongue for a long time in the linger and begs to be shaved off. Perhaps quenching on a hot day, but I don’t think I would want it for that either.

12oz shorty bottle. Orange-tan with a foamy off-white head. Mellow sweet corny aroma, with a touch of fresh citrus. Smooth medium bodied mouthfeel, with a lemony crispness. Very refreshing and better than your typical US Blonde, a touch thicker. The lemony sour citrus taste is really the defining characteristic of this beer, lacing the golden malt body. An OK session beer any day.

This one poured a cloudy darkish gold, with a small foamy head and not much lacing here. The aroma was floral and hopped, and also a bit bitter. The taste was again of hops with some floral hints, with a slightly bitter mouthfeel. Refreshing!

The least flattering thing about this beer was probably it’s aroma. It smelled a little stale, and resembled corn quite a bit. Taste was grainy, light and malty. It had such a light mouthfeel. Incredibly light actually. but spritzy. Hops, corn and grain on the nose. A rather lifeless beer but i get what they were attempting here."

On tap at Tap House in Seattle. Clear dull gold in color. Aroma of buttery bread with only a hint of hops. Flavor was very buttery, with bread and a hint of fruit. Was not a big fan of this one.

Brewpub tap; faint lemon over the palate; nice flavor going down with a clean finish; would be a good to quench the thirst on a warm day. (#30)
