Bright blond-gold colour. Light fresh grain aroma and flavour. Slighty limey, not much bitterness. Watery finish.

Crystal clear apple juice body with white head. Aroma and taste are both medium sweet, nutty, caramel, floral. Watery light body, slight graininess. Nice for what it is, though aroma/taste seem more like a nut brown.

Hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Rather floral in aroma, with just a hints of oats, wintergreen and citrus. As it sets the aromas seem to remind me of stomach acid. This and a bit zippy in feel. Very little malt to be found, a touch of key lime. A dry herbal flavor sticks to the tongue for a long time in the linger and begs to be shaved off. Perhaps quenching on a hot day, but I don’t think I would want it for that either.

Bottle: Gold color, light white head and lacing. Nose of light vanilla and hops, sweet clean malt and biscuit, lightly doughy. Nice blonde, malty and a decent medium body. Decent malty finish.

On draught at the brewpub in Everett, Washington. Pours a clear golde blonde brew with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a thin white head and some excellent lacing. Aroma of light bread dough, citrus zest and a touch of yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of hard fruit, bread dough, citrus zest and a hint of vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet with a more golden grain malt aftertaste that hides any hop character.

Bottled. Poured clear orangey-golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up tart, wet grains and vinegar upfront, which really threw me off.. some tart lemon zest as well.. I don’t think this was supposed to be sour. The flavor was, not surprisingly, sour..vinegar, light fruits, and lemon were responsible.. some grainy notes and dusty hops as well.. finished sour and salty with lime character. Light-bodied and way too sour on the palate.. nothing was right here.

Draft at Hector’s. Pours medium yellow with a wisp of foam atop. Vacant nose, mild flavor on a medium body with light carb and the slightest bitter finish. This was merely the least of all evils on top at this place last night. And at that, it numbered least only because I’d never tried it. Maybe this beer has a tasty friend it could introduce me to.
