Commercial Description:
A strong wheat beer (O.G. 1.065) brewed in the weizen bock style. Full bodied and smooth, it finishes with a hint of spice resulting from a generous final addition of Hallertau hops. Available mid September.

Pours a transparent copper orange with a wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet malted wheat and some oxidized papery notes with a hint of fruity banana esters. Body starts fairly full and sweet with some bready notes and fruity balance before a drier toasty finish. An ok weizenbock but needs more authenticity and complexity.

Bomber courtesy of RiversideAK. Pours mahogany with a tan head. Smells of raisins, wheat, spices, some cloves, rosey, some earthy hints. Tastes lightly peppery with lots of spice and sweet malt. The esthers I usually associate with weizenbock aren’t quite there, but pleasant.

22. Pours a ruddy dark amber with fair haze and some lovely rubied highlights. Huge surging creamy tan head that quickly sloughs off the burden of this mortal coil, leaving no head, no lace, and no surviving family members. Big, hard-to-place fruity nose with some wheat sour. Medium body, definitely overcarbonated. Sharp prickly fizz on the tongue, though none is visible in the glass. Fruitiness, nuttiness, caramel, and wheat sour on the mid-palate. On paper, that sounds fine. But it’s too tart and unsubtle to really bring much joy. Mild wheat sour finish.

From the bottle pours copper with a small off-white head. Toasted malt nose, fruity and a bit earthy as the finish grew. Spiciness in the finish was subtle but there, picked up a bit as the brew warmed.

From a 22-ounce bottle--This is the one a server at the brewery in Everett called "the panty dropper." The brew I enjoyed was 7+% ABV and not 6.1% as listed here. It was also a lot better than the low score here indicates. Hazy chestnut body with a small tan head. Nose of sweet fruits and raisins. Mild booziness that was well masked. Complex and smooth as a baby’s bottom. Yum!

Hazy, flat-looking amber colour with no head. Aroma of spice, alcohol, light peach, plum. Slight alcohol note, and dusty yeast. Light fruit finish. Some okay flavours, but lifeless.
