Pale yellow. Nice legs. Great aroma - it’s appley but complex, maybe a bit of bubblegum, and a honeyish note. Tart, complex flavour, snappy with great carbonation. Notes of honey, peach and really complex apples. Wow - this is great stuff.

Very strong brown sugar in the aroma - almost a hint of caramel with plenty of lightly tart apple character. Clear straw coloured body is likely sparkling. Flavour is quite dry with tart green apples lingering more in the aftertaste. Dry body with champagne-like effervescence that enlivens the tongue. Wine glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle. Brewery Creek. Aug-07.

2008-10-10. Pale headless yellow body. Modest aroma of apples, musty apples with a kiss of hay, fresh apple juice core. (6+) Flavour up front is tart, zippy, light woody straw in the finish. Core is quite mild thought, watery at times. Very tart-dry overall impression. Refreshing, nice highlights but lacks depth. Average palate is fairly carbonate. Simple, drinkable stuff. Bottle c/o mgermani

(500ml bottle) Purchased at the cidery for $12. Pours a yellow tinge off perfectly clear. No carbonation or sediment like the Wild English. Nose of a dry white wine but the palate gets loose a cathartic sweet to tart to bitterness that grounds all anxieties. Wonderful blades of flavour with a lasting tongue of sharpness. I hope this returns as a member of the regular line-up. This King will be cherished.

Still yellow. Sweet apple must aroma. Dry smooth apple taste. Green apples and MacIntosh. Delicate body more apple wine than apple juice. Very nice.

500ml bottle from CapFlu, thanks Todd. Nose of fresh tart green apples, very fresh and moderately tart smelling. Pale yellow with a small head of clear bubbles, the head dissipating quickly, but bubbles lingering on the glass sides and slowly releasing with more forming. Flavor is very tart with a moderate green apple flavor along with some apricots and a bit of background sweetness. A very tiny hint of sweetness lingers with some tartness for a finish. This is one even the sour beer boys might even like!

[1768-20081010] Bottle. Sugary apples and apple skins aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with quick white bubbles. Initially apple bubbles flavour then finishes earthy and heavy with fermented apples. Light body is quite effervescent. Not wonderful but fair and drinkable.
