Pours a golden pale color with a very thin foamy head. Sweet aroma of apricots and yeast. As with the other Sea Dog fruit varieties, the flavor is weak. Pretty average.

Purchased at Trader Joe’s, 12 oz bottle. Bours a golden orange, hazy with a white head. Smell is canned peaches and apricots, sweet and dry. Taste is same, with wheat and dry spicy coriander. Lots of carbonation. Smell is spot on, taste is good if you’re just drinking one.

Tasted as Kennebunkport Apricot Wheat from Trader Joe’s. This fruit beer pours an apricot gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is apricots and sweet. A medium to light bodied fruit wheat. The malts are wheaty and crisp. The apricot flavor is not to sweet and only slightly artificial tasting. The hops are slightly spicy. There is a definite seltzer/carbonation flavor as well. Drinkable, but there is nothing else bad or good to say about it. The aroma is the best feature of this beer. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

The only thing this beer has going for it is the apricot aroma. Body is much to watery with a stale dishrag aftertaste.

As Kennebunkport Apricot Wheat from Trader Joe’s. The base beer is a light American style wheat, the apricot flavoring added is not offensive but not exactly delicious either. I found this to be a light and drinkable beer but I really wish this could have been something I would want to buy again... it’s not.

Bottled under Kenny Bunkport label from Trader Joe’s. Amazing smell of rich apricots and caramel. The great smell makes the taste very dissappointing, only a mild bit of apricot and hops leading to a watery finish. Very smooth and drinkable.

12 oz bottle of Kennebunkport Apricot Wheat from Trader Joe’s; nose of caramel, butter, and apricots; translucent orange with a medium off-white head; flavor of apricots with a tiny butter (diacetyl) note. Without the diacetyl probably would be pretty good. Wished it tasted nearly as good as it looked!

I didn’t know beer could smell so much like apricots. Average beer with only the slightest taste of aprictos. A litttle disappointing, but still a pretty good lager.
