Sep 27, 2007 Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Kennebunkport label. Dark golden in color upon pouring. Moderate apricot aroma with a bit of graininess. Flavor is fairly wheaty with some apricot flavoring. Decent fruit beer.

Sep 25, 2007 12 oz. bottle as "Kennebunkport Apricot Wheat," from Trader Joe’s. Fresh apricot smell is a good start. Dark orange color, a fizzy fading head. Smell in the glass more resembles apricot Jell-o, though. Taste falls into kind of apricot "drink" unsupported by any beer character. Can’t tell that this is a wheat beer. I just drank it down and put it out of mind. Maybe apricot works better if there’s some pulp in it?

Sep 25, 2007 Poured a light golden-orange color with an average white head. Big candy apricot nose. Watery and dull mouthfeel. Artificial flavors ran rampant through this beer. Finished bleak and contrived for people who hate beer and want a wine cooler. Still, I drank it and enjoyed it for what it was...beer...technically.

Sep 23, 2007 I first had the Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat. So i was excited to try this. The aroma and taste was great but the finish ruined it. it lingered and felt cheap. I would deny being offered this beer.

Nearly medium body, and moderate, near creamy, carbonation. Wheat flavor with apricot. It is what it purports to be. The finish is apricot and doughy? A clean, slightly sweet finish.

Sep 16, 2007 On tap at the Florida Tap Room. Pours out clear golden with minimal head. Big apricot wheat nose, maybe a little too sweet. Taste is is full of the apricot and is best to drink very cold, as it gets a little to sticky sweet warm. I can drink this as a change of pace, but only once in a while.
