The aroma is great - of course strong fruity apricot - no surprise. Poured a nice body - thick hazy orange similar to a Belgian wit. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Ok if you’re into fruit beer. The apricot flavor is very strong with a fresh bread finish that only remains a third of the time. Seems somewhat flat with a foggy golden color. Not terrible, but I’ve had better in this style. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 12, 2007 335ml bottle. Clear golden body with a small off-white head. Strong apricot aroma. Flavor is more apricot than beer, but what do you expect from something like this? At least it’s not too sticky and have a certain bitter finish. Rather thin body. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 22, 2007 12 ounce bottle purchased at City Market (May 22 2007) and consumed rather cold from an Allagash glass. A quite voluminous white head disgorges from the bottle though it subsides very quickly into a thin sheeting atop the very clear amber/gold body....apricot-juice nose is quite simple, one-dimensional, fruity with no wheat/yeasty quality (not that I expected any), pleasant but as un-beerlike as any fruitbeer aroma I’ve encountered.....on the tongue, the typical dried, dessicated character that I’d expect from this kind of commercial product, faintly tart but mostly just having the flavor of very dry and stale butter cookies with a dollop of thin old apricot jam -- artificial apricot jam at that....rather low carbonation, somewhat syrupy towards the finish, no hops and very little malt noted. Yeah, ’bout what I expected. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | May 14, 2007 Bottled. Beer is clear, light golden brown with a small, frothy, white, rapidly and totally diminishing head.

The aroma is dominated by a heavy note of bright, perfumey apricot. The trace malty note of toasted grain in the background is just a whisper. Smells like a beer cooler.

The flavor is blank. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic with a short, trace acidic and sweet finish. Only redeeming thing about this beer is in the rets: genuine wheat toast.

The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy.

I’d put this stuff in the fridge to serve old ladies. Ernest (4502), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Body is medium to dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly yeasty (dough), with a strong note of apricot/peach/etc., notes of perfume and soap.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter, slightly unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
Another soda pop beer from "Sea Dog", much like the Blueberry stuff (this one’s a little less sweet at least). Why are these the only two beers (so far) from this goofy company to make it to CO? Do they make any actual beer?
