I like wheat beers, but this is my first taste of an apricot wheat. I will probably try a different brewery for an apricot wheat, but not this one again. wcampbell (584), Central, South Carolina, USA

I thought this was pretty decent. I like the apricot wheats. It was kind of watery and boring, but the taste was pretty good. Wheaty, light apricot flavor. Not much else going on. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2008 bottle poured a light golden in color with a thin layer of white head that quickly disapeared. carbination is fairly full pooling at the surface. aroma has real nice apricot, sweetness, peach, and a candy nose. mouth feel is lighter with a good dose of carbination and is refreshing. taste has a fairly authentic apricot peach thing not too overly sweetened. the wheat side could use a little more punch and it finishes through on the dry side a little thin. on the track of a magic hat #9 but lacking in body. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Pours a clear light amber color. Fruity aroma, definite apricot presence. Light watery apricot flavor, very refreshing. This has a good flavor for a lighter beer, you could drink it all day. DuffMan (2786), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada

Aroma of apricot candy. Artificial apricot candy flavour eclipses any malt that may be hiding here. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Had this under the Trader Joe’s Kennebunkport Apricot Wheat. Pours a clear gold, no haze. two finger frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, apricot, some citrusy lemongrass. The flavor is grainy, soft grains, a tad bit wheaty, and then sweet apricot. Says what it is. Goes down easy Not a drain pour but not something worth spending money on. I literally copy and pasted the blueberry wheat rating here and changed blueberry to apricot.
