the body of this beer is the downer, also little to no wheat beer characteristics.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2008 Clear dark gold with zero head and no bubbles. Very strong blueberry jam aroma. Strong blueberry flavor with grainy malt playing a distant fiddle. Just about no bitterness. Lacking in body and carbonation and character other than blueberry. stefanje (944), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 1, 2008 12 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s in La Mesa. Bottle says Kennebunktport Brewing Co. Pours a translucent gold color with a small white head that soon vanishes. The aroma has a good blueberry character. The flavor showcases weak washed-out blueberries and a bit of sweet and sour metal. The mouthfeel was thin, watery and under-carbonated. Even Bud has a better palate than this. The finish was short and metallic. Overall: Nearly a drainpour; because people brew fruit beers like these, the good folks at Cantillion have ample job security. Lothore (276), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Bottle says "Kennebunkport Brewing Company" however a quick search of the brewers site shows that it is brewed by Federal Jack’s for trader joe’s.
A- Dark yellow in color, almost apple cideresque. Small 1.5 finger head that fades quickly with no lacing. Looks very carbonated.
S- Smells deeply of blueberries. Underneath is a hefeweizen wheat smell.
T- Tastes of wheat and grain. Semi sweet malts with a hint of blueberry, but not nearly as much as I expected from the nose.
M- Mouthfeel is very carbonated with about medium viscosity.
D- This beer goes down really easy but I think I would get tired of the blueberry sweetness pretty fast, none the less its worth a try if your looking for a fruit beer.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2008 Updated: May 23, 2008The aroma is great. the first taste you get not much but a light beer taste. On the palate the blueberry comes back as a kicker. I liked it but would consider it mid-pack as far as Blueberry beers go, if that. Went well with a light fish. daknole (2942), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 23, 2008 This is a fairly weak effort in my opinion. The blueberry smell is there but the taste is justt too much blueberry. The beer itself, not counting the blueberry, is not that good. So the end result isnt that good. Watery mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Just fair at best.
