This is a really dull beer. Not much Blueberry too it. Aroma smells fake like a blueberry candle or air freshener mixed in a wet mop bucket. Pretty skunky. Feels like Bud Light or a Pale Ale on the palatte. I’m not too excited to try the raspberry now.

Had this under the Trader Joe’s Kennebunkport Blueberry Wheat. Pours a clear gold, no haze. two finger frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, blueberrys, some citrusy lemongrass. The flavor is grainy, soft grains, a tad bit wheaty, and then mild blueberry. Says what it is. Goes down easy Not a drain pour but not something worth spending money on.

Put a little butter in this one and call it a muffin....albeit a pretty damn refreshing muffin... I poured this Maine offering into my hefe glass to find a crisp, clear looking golden ale with a nice ultra white cloudy head (it did not have that unfiltered haze that you find in a lot of wheats). The smell was actually fairly mild, with hints of dried wheat and blueberries carrying most of the workload. The taste of blueberries is present, but not overwhelmingly sweet by any means. The light malt and mild hoppy finish make this beer well balanced. This wheat ale had a very light mouth feel, making it a great summer or session option. This beer paired great with grilled western style burgers (BBQ sauce, cheddar, onion rings etc... )and BBQ chicken. Don’t think for a second though, that this beer won’t make a Sunday morning football breakfast or two. Some scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives, sliced ham, and a blueberry brew. Enjoy.

Pours golden with white head. The flavor is all blueberry. The flavor is more subdued wtih a slight wheat sweetness. Not bad as a refreshing summer drink but not very deep.

Nice clear pale color. Aroma of berries without being over the top. A sweet flavor that is contrasted nicely with a pleasant nuttiness. The finish is vaguely reminiscent of breakfast cereal. Overall, not the best blueberry ale I’ve had, but far, far from the worst, either. Worth a go.

Pours an off golden color with little to no head. You can smell fresh blueberries as you pour. Up close the nose is a little more citrus but still the strong blueberry presence. The beer seems a little weak or lacking but then that blueberry (or maybe Boo Berry) flavor kicks in. Finishes clean with a slight fruity finish. Not for me but well made for what it is.
