The taste crushed them. A terrible disappointment. This beer doesn’t taste like anything! It’s a mix of carbination and faint blueberries. Surprisingly, no flavor of beer here. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Nice powerful blueberry aroma very pleasing. Tastes a bit weak and sour. not often id rather smell a beer than drink one, but this would be it. Could leave one open in your bathroom as air freshener. elelwarren (138), SF Bay area, California, USA

Smelled like...blueberries. Tasted, almost, like...blueberries. I don’t like blueberries. I don’t like this beer. This is a beer for people who don’t like beer. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 10, 2007 Poured a clear copper body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of artificial blueberry flavoring and dusty wheat. Glassy, thin carbonated mouth feel. Finished with the same obnoxious sweetening flavor. Ick! The aroma was kind of nasty when first poured. It could have been blueberries, but had much more in common with a locker room sanitizer aroma. The beer poured into the glass clear golden amber with hardly any head at all. The flavor was blueberries and wheat and a decent flavor at that. The blueberries taste like that in poptarts or blueberry muffins, nice, but a bit artificial. The finish was dry with lasting impressions of blueberries. The body was medium and a low level of carbonation. Not a bad tasting beer, but the aroma leaves something to be desired. 12 ounce bottle. Purchased at Trader Joes. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 20, 2007 I did a wheat beer tasting not long ago which included Aventinus eisbock and most people preferred this one. Amazing ... I don’t like it much as most people. Oh, I’ll admit that it would be smashing on a lazy saturday morning for breakfast with blueberry pancackes, maple syrup, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs with fresh biscuits. Added blueberry flavor far too obvious. If you added blueberries, why is there no sign in the beer color?
Again, this would be a good breakfast beer.
