The appearance was a golden color, with little head. Good blueberry flavor, and satisfactory palate. Perfect for smoking a cigar. jezmez68 (334), Chesterton, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Aug 18, 2007 When you pop the cap the smell of blueberries hits you. Although after pouring, I can barely smell the berries.
Typical wheat microbrew, yellow in color, small head. I wonder if American wheat beers are supposed to be like Weizen beers. Instead, we get very weak beers that barely taste of wheat.
Purchased at Trader Joe’s outside of Chicago. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Another gift from JK. Gold color with no head. Strong and powerful blueberry aroma. Very fresh, like you just stuffed your nose into a basket of them. The blueberry fades a bit in the flavor, but the big point here is that it still tastes like actual fruit, not the horrid industrialized sugar taste of an extract. Definite wheat taste as well. Nicely done. cazort (420), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Very thin, little to no carbonation. A mild beer-like flavor with a strong presence of blueberries. No hops, no real malt flavor, no attempts to blend or incorporate the fruit into the beer-like qualities. I don’t get it...this seems like more of a novelty than anything else, and I have no desire to drink it again. BDR (2169), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Thanks to JK for sharing. Very stron blueberry nose that smells like fresh berries instead of extract. Honey colored beer with a faint head and some faint malt peaking out through the blueberry. Pours a clear golden golden straw/blonde brew with a thin, fizzy head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of tangy blueberries, apples, bready malt and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, well carbonated, with s bready blueberry flavor. Finish is slightly tart, semi-sweet with a candied berry and bread aftertaste flavor. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Hits a little bit strong on the blueberry side, otherwise it’s a decent drinkable wheat. I would suggest toning it down a bit. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2007 I bought this sixer for my wife. She likes the fruit beer. This has an effervescent blueberry aroma. I thought the blueberries would be more subtle. Well its got a lot of blueberry in the flavor too. Some wheat aftertaste. The taste lingers like blueberry pancakes. Even after drinking some Anchor Steam it still lingers. If you like Blueberries then this is for you.
