Light malt in the flavor, and some honey as well. Reminds me of Town Hall Thunderstorm. Well balanced. mahlon (19), Monterey, California, USA

I was one of those people who thought that fruit-based beer just wasn’t for them, mainly because all the ones I’d tried previously had only a hint of the fruit they purportedly contained. This nectar of the gods is bursting with heavenly Blueberry flavor! Finally, the full-bodied taste and aroma I’d been searching for in a fruit beer! I can’t stock my fridge fast enough. It can be found at Trader Joe’s stores here in CA. yesyouam (609), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2007 This is a perfectly clear and sparkling pale gold ale topped with a small bone-colored head. The aroma is... blueberries! There are notes of light, sweet grass and grain, but the blueberries prevail. It is light, slippery and crisp on the tounge-- a very refreshing texture. I’m a big fan of blueberries and there’s a lot of that going on here. The fruit flavor blends well with the very light hops. It’s not sweet. A well-done fruit beer! mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Bottled. Thanks to oh6gdx for this one. Golden in colour with a minor white head. The aroma is fresh. I smell wild berries, wheat and rubarb. The flavour then. I taste wheat and rubarb with hints of strawberries. An interesting brew. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Draught @ Nellos. Pours very light amber with a small fading white head. Aromas of blueberries and butter. Tasted exactly like one of those blueberry muffins from Costco (You know the ones.). A pint of this was way too much for me, the flavor is way too over the top. The mouthfeel was thin yet syrupy with a sticky sweetness that lingered on you palate like you were just in a blueberry syrup chugging contest down at IHOP. I like to eat my muffins not drink them. dmac (1503), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Tap. Poured a golden bronze color with a silky smooth white head. Strong nose of blueberries but it wasn’t to overpowering on the palate. Would of rather had this one in the summer sitting outside instead of the dead of winter when it was around 18 degrees outside. rmussman (906), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Wow what an overwelming scent of blueberries. I am so disappointed with a lot of brews because they dont actually taste like the flavor its suppose to be. Pour is golden with little head. Mouthfeel is smooth and flavor is very nice. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2007 I had a blueberry beer at Beer Works across from Fenway Park in Park in Boston so I decided to try this beer. I really like the blueberry style beer. Pours a deep hazy bronze color. I could smell all blueberries on the nose. Not a huge fan of fruit beers, but this one is really good.
