subtle blueberry aroma and flavour, just a simple lager style beer besides that. its nice, different, yet not somethign would pursue re-rate as the kennebunkport blueberry wheat: incredibly powerful blueberry aroma and flavour. Not much on the wheat side of things, but loads of fruit present.

The initial whiff is of nice blueberry muffins, but that is followed by a malt liquor rancid corn. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is much like the aroma with a mix of good and bad. The blueberries are in the finish but there is a bitter acid that comes first. Thankfully there is a little bit of wheat in there to make it drinkable. This was really disappointing because it could have been so wonderful.

Smells like blueberry pancakes with fresh wild blueberry syrup. The beer pours to a golden body with a nice white head and heavy lacing. The flavor is blueberry pancakes and boo-berry cereal. Definitely tastes like blueberries. The palate is a bit weak and comes off as over-carbonated and spritzy. Not a bad beer, for it does taste like one would think a blueberry beer should (although tres blueberry stout was much better).

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Candyshop aroma with notes of some sweet fruits. Flavour quite the same, but more to the direction of for instance Red Bull or Battery energy drinks. Only weak hints of malts and hops.

Aroma like a candy store! Very thin body. Taste is very similar to those energy drinks, really. Like Red "Oxen" and such. No aftertaste. This can probably be refreshing on a hot summers day. But on the other hand, so can a soft drink.

About 3 drafts at a beer festival. Love the blueberries, nice clean tasting beer. Well worth seeking out.

pretty good stuff. Not as strong blueberry as my friend had told me, but maybe that is a good thing. Very smooth drinking, taste of blueberries, good carbonation. Well made beer if you ask me.

I love this beer. I just wish it were more readily available in my area. It smells and tastes like blueberry, but not overwhelmingly so. Perfect balance of sweet and tart. Very smooth.
