Apr 27, 2009 pours straw gold with little to know head. aroma is sugar and of course blueberries. flavor is about the same. not much depth as far as malts or hops go, but finishes very clean as absolutely refreshing. a nice light summer ale.

Apr 14, 2009 Golden pour. Sweet aroma of blueberries. Flavor is actually pretty decent. Nice balance of fruit with the malts and doesn’t taste overly artificial.

Apr 10, 2009 (bottle). Pours a golden color. Small white head with minimal lacing. Has a strong berry aroma. Taste has strong berry flavor, with light wheat. Taste is also tart. Smooth/watery finish. Medium to high carbonation.

Apr 7, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear golden yellow with a big fizzy white head. As soon as you open the bottle the aroma of blueberry muffin hits you. Has a strong stale blueberry aroma. Hints of alcohol, and feet. Flavor is of harsh blueberry. No real depth here. Weak finish. High carbination. Has okay wheat tones but not great. This one misses for me but its not awful.

Mar 21, 2009 Amazing smell of blueberry waffles, bu once you taste it, your like "oh, what a flavorless wheat." Then you get a mouthful of ass. Stay clear of this crap. On tap at Hurricane Wings in Miami.

Mar 18, 2009 Of all the mainstream fruit beers, Sea Dog is the company that never fails to deliver. This is most apparent in their Blue Paw. I was a little frightened by the aroma, as it smelled like it would be overly sweet. However, the blueberry taste was just subtle enough. It was definitely there, but not overpowering. Nor was it that nasty, fake blueberry flavor. This is a very refreshing beer after working outside all day. The ladies love Sea Dog.
Having said that, let me be specific as to why my rating is lower than my review has warranted: if you want to have a crisp, refreshing beverage, Sea Dog is great. If you want to have a beer, search elsewhere.

Mar 16, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s in Glen Allen, VA. Kennebunkport label. Pours a light amber color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is a weird funky cheesy wheat with fairly strong blueberry notes. Taste is wheat, blueberry and some grainy and grassy notes. Thin bodied. Definitely a miss here.

Mar 13, 2009 wow lots of blueberry, it smells like muffins. Your whole house will smell like blueberry.
