It is a nice wheat, more American in style then german due to a slightly hoppy undertone. Coloring is done right, smells good. Maybe not the very best I ever had but I love this style and this one ranks up there. Taking out a few hops would improve it. Flavvor is good though and it has the thickness missing from lesser wheat brews. Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA

This is quite dark for a Hefe, but its certainly not a Dunkel Weizen either. The aroma was hard to detect due to the lemon garnish. Had a good flavor, with accents of citrus of some kind (even after I took the lemon off the glass). A somewhat bitter aftertaste developed after some time, but not at all unpleasant. A good effort at a good style. beerman991979 (137), Old Town, Maine, USA

I would say that it has a lemony flavor (and not because of the garnish). a very slight bitter finish which enhanced the overall taste. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA

It was full of flavor - very complex and ’wholesome.’ It even had a real nice fruity flavor (although, I don’t know which kind of fruit it exemplified). It may be seasonal - I couldn’t find it bottled either (tried it on tap in Bangor).
