Kennebunkport Label (Pugsley Brewing LLC). Lightly hazed golden color with a moderate diminishing off-white head. Very light aromas with a touch of wheat and orange peels. Fairly thick and a touch syrupy. Light flavors as well. Light wheat and mild Elmer’s glue flavors. LIght dry floral middle. Some apricots and lightly toasted sweet malt in the finish and linger. Not a bad ale, not much of a wheat beer.

Purchased at Trader Joe’s in St. Louis. Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma is chalky with light sweetness and some rich wheat under the chalk. There are also hints of citrus. Medium body with a bit of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with semi-sweet wheat, chalk and some orange. The finish is chalky and some with some lemon notes. An okay wheat ale.

From Trader Joe’s and simply label "Wheat Beer". Pours clear golden with lively carbonation and medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, very smooth. Mouthfeel is very thin with lots of carbonation. Finish is sour and skunky like a bad pale lager. The wheat smoothness gets hinted at later in the glass, but doesn’t do much to mask the funk that is in there. I’m glad this was cheap and I only got one bottle. Avoid, there are too many inexpensive wheats out there that are good.

Faint wheat bread and butter aroma. Golden color, very clear, brief medium sized head. Wheat taste and finish, little character.

(Bottle) Pours a golden color with a slight haze. Aroma of wheat and sweet malts. Taste is similar, before a sour skunkiness kicks in. Light citrus towards the end. Not impressed...

From a 12-oz bottle (shared by JK), pours a medium golden blonde with an average off-white head. Aroma of wheat malt, light sweet citrus peel, and a touch of butterscotch. Taste is a little stale, extra carbonation to most other wheat beers, with a slight metalic and yeast aftertaste.

Thanks JK! Gold color with a medium head. Aroma of wet cardboard and cotton candy. Tastes like stale wheat inside a grain silo in August.
