Mine was labelled "Sea Dog Wheat Beer". Unusual, and not a particularly good sample of the variety, but a good beer nonetheless. Thick white head tops a light golden, completely clear pour with a touch of effervescence. Nose is maltier than a traditional wheat, almost lagery in its crispness. Finishes clean, not muddied. Sweet, but few off flavors. Good beer -- not a good wheat beer. Panzuriel (993), Westerville, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 17, 2006 Clear golden liquid with thin and fizzy head that persists nicely. Nose is also a clean and crisp mildly malty aroma. Beer is mildly sweet but mostly mellow grain and mild hops. very clean and crisp with some good bitters in the aftertaste. Nice refreshing beer. dslunsford1 (55), Hampton, Virginia, USA

Actual label on this beer is Kennebunkport Brewing Company "Wheat Beer". vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Purchased at Trader Joe’s in St. Louis. Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma is chalky with light sweetness and some rich wheat under the chalk. There are also hints of citrus. Medium body with a bit of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with semi-sweet wheat, chalk and some orange. The finish is chalky and some with some lemon notes. An okay wheat ale. Earlier Rating: 4/11/2006 Total Score: 2 From Trader Joe’s and simply label "Wheat Beer". Pours clear golden with lively carbonation and medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, very smooth. Mouthfeel is very thin with lots of carbonation. Finish is sour and skunky like a bad pale lager. The wheat smoothness gets hinted at later in the glass, but doesn’t do much to mask the funk that is in there. I’m glad this was cheap and I only got one bottle. Avoid, there are too many inexpensive wheats out there that are good. Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2004 Filtered, so the pour is clear, but a nice dark golden color. Not much in the way of head or lacing. Rather thin with a bit of a malt undertone, but overall lacking in anything notable. sethdude (603), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2005 Pours a crystal-clear gold, lots of carbonation, a healthy head, and moderate lacing. Aroma is typical weak American wheat. Flavor is more of the same. Reasonably good, a good lawnmower beer, but nothing fancy or unique here. For the price, you could do worse. It is sort of a Leinenkugel’s Honey Weiss with a heavier body. Gold, and a little sweet. Not much else to say. Purchased at Trader Joe’s, St. Louis Park, MN. Tmoney99 (4767), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
