| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Poured an amber color with a good sized head. Had the tpypical citrus flavor of an IPA, but the flavor was a little bland compared to the superior IPA’s. Average brew. timfoolery (484), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Poured orange-amber with thick, frothy head. This brew had tastes of tropical citrus, basically the sweeter ones. As with all IPAs, this one had bitters, but they shifted during tasting. There wasn’t a consistent hop flavor to it. Overall, it was a steal at TJ’s and was very drinkable. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg. Clear amber color, small offwhite head. Hoppy, fruity aroma, some pinapples. Hoppy metallic flavor, dry and with some fruits. Long dry bitter finish. troopie (909), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Bottle. Poured tawny gold with frothy white head. Faint floral aroma with an oleic touch. Middling flavour, not the hoppiness you would expect from an IPA. Resin in the finish aith a bit of butteriness. Commonplace and ordinary. Not worth taking extra effort to find. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Feb 2, 2008 I take no joy in blasting a craft beer. But man, this is terrible. It smells basicaly OK, and looks fine, but it has a hugely watered down palate. And then there is this herbal, harsh medicinal quality that completely dominates the entire thing. Ugh, a legitamate drainpour. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 1, 2008 Draft sampled at brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a beigh head. Aroma of light caramel malts, citrus, grains, and a light hoppiness. Flavor is caramel, grapefruit, malty sweetness, light resin, and some piney hops. medium bodied with a dry and bitter finish. wilkie (1193), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange, copper, with a small white head, slightly hazy. Aroma of bread, hops, pepper. Flavor is quite bitter up front, then a tad bit of caramel and a pepperish finish. Kind of dry, and harsh at the end--the hop flavor is not very well blended, and the malt is slightly weak. tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 27, 2008 12 oz bottle (best before July ’08). Pours clear copper with beige head. The aroma is fruit peels, some graininess, and an odd spicy note. The flavor is bitter right off, then a strange fruit tone, then caramel and a candy-ish sweetness. The finish is bitter and hollow. It’s a bitter enough beer, but with very little actual hop flavor.
