The beer poured a nice golden brown color with orange highlights and thin to slight head. The aroma was citrusy with hints of clove and earth tones. The flavor was malty with caramel and molasses with hints of oranges and cloves. The mouthfeel was slightly bittery and a little wet. Overall, an okay beer, but am spoiled living on the west coast with west coast style IPAs!

12 oz. bottle (Kennebunkport IPA) courtesy of highibus - Pours a clear copper color with a big off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is soapy and light herbal hops. Flavor is sweet malt and light fruity esters. Medium body. Not your typical IPA. Worth a try. Thanks Tom.

Bottle sampled on 9/16/07: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of dry, earthy musty hops and some lightly toasted caramel malt. Body starts with some mild sweetness and earthy grassy piny hop bitterness. Could use a fresher, bigger hop profile, but otherwise an ok IPA.

Bottle. Rich ruby amber with a nice beige head. Malty, pine, citrus aroma. Pine, malt, light spice flavor. Spice, malt, and pine lingers. Medium body. Not bad, but not very bitter. Earthy, woodsy elements start popping up.

Rerate After finishing the third from the sampler 12, this has kind of grown on me. A bit more citrusy hoppiness and a sprucey aroma is noticed. Original 2.7 Tallahassee, Fl. - Albertson’s Liquors - 12 oz bottle - part of a mixer 12 pack. Medium copper pour, light white head, not much lacing. Aroma not very apparent, some maple syrup - just a hint of spruce. Flavor has some good subtle bitter notes, a hint of citrus, maybe some maple syrupy. Not all that hoppy. Clean, even mouthfeel. Drinkable, but nothing exciting going on here.

12oz bottle. pours a cinnamon amber color with very little head... smells stronger than it tastes.. this IPA is much lighter and less bitter than I am used to but nonetheless still enjoyable. it has a fruity, grainy overtone with some decent malts attached.. missing that aftertaste punch but still good...

Pours a pale brown with a medium off-white head. Very sweet IPA--almost like cola. Not as much depth as it could have. Watery body.
