of Cow pasture in it.   Ugh... barnish, with hay, straw, and cow dung.   Not all that appealing.   Very light malt and hop
aspects.   Luckily it tastes better than it smells.   It appears to have very little hop presense, minor malt presense, but blended
well enough to provide a decent quaffing IPA.   However, I still do detect some of that Cow pasture.   Neither fresh nor terribly
clean, its still not half bad.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Maybe a bit watery.   Has a very mild bitterness to it, very
mild, otherwise a decent malt base.   Too bad about the Cow pasture tho.   That nose just doesn’t do too well.

amber color, lacy head, slightly cloudy with lots of bubbles, sweet malt and hop aroma, rich flavor with just the right amount of malt and lots of hops that last through to the aftertaste

hops are subtle in aroma and flavor, lots more subtle underlying bitterness lingering through the finish, an excellent esb

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2007 Bottle. Malt aromas of caramel, flowers and pine for the hops and soap for the yeast with a little cherry in the background. Head is a bubbly white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing, color is orange/brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic and finishes heavily bitter and a bit acetic. Palate is light to medium, between dry and watery with lively carbonation. It’s missing the complexity and boldness I’m used to in a IPA. Not a bad beer, just not great. Not much of an aroma but a suprisingly flavorful beer. Well balanced between the hops and malt. SoylentBlack (100), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

A sweet pale ale, with definite astringent, but goes away quick. A good changeup from overhopped IPAs. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Cool surprise. Hazy amber, moderate head with solid lacing and retention. Aroma is strong floral hops with some grapefruit, toast, wood and caramel malts backing it. Cool aromas/flavors here for a ’joe blow’ IPA. The body is fairly light and the bitterness is moderate to low. An IIPA or IIIPA of this stuff would kick ass. Drjohnrock (95), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Sweet aroma, dark amber color, flavor of sweet malt and sugar with a slight hop tang, most of the hop sensation is in the finish and aftertaste. Not the hopfest you expect from a beer labeled IPA, but well made and refreshing, and at $5.49 a six pack you won’t hear me bitch about it.
