Feb 22, 2009 Got this under the Trader Joe’s pseudonym: Kennebunkport IPA. Off-white quickly descending head. Amber color. Weak hops aroma. Weak hop taste. Mostly mediocre malts. Very slight citrus. Mediocre IPA, but fortunately, IPA is a good style of beer, so a bad IPA is really not so bad.

Jan 11, 2009 pretty decent IPA. A decent amber color with a frothy white head that had good retention and lacing. Aroma was somewhat soapy with a little malt note. Not overly bitter on but only a medium-bodied caramel malt presence. Finish needed to be dry though.

Dec 30, 2008 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Clear, amber-orange pour with a medium beige head, quickly fading to a ring and some spotty lace. Aroma of citrus and caramel, with a hint of soap. Flavor much less palatable, some pleasant citric hops at the front are quickly overshadowed by soapy bitterness and a distinct cardboard element in the malts. Medium body, slightly flat.

Dec 25, 2008 Medium golden pour with an aroma of light soap and malt. Flavor is pretty malty with with only a light amount of hop character that is not real fresh. Decent but not an IPA.

Dec 10, 2008 Clear amber with a tight head. Mild caramel aroma with faint floral hops. Medium body. Nice taste is lightly sweet caramel malts with mild floral hops. Nicely bitter finish.
