Taste is a rather thin lager with hints of pumpkin and spice. body is thinner but has some fullness from pumpkin. Rather thin and unsatisfying in this genre, overall. deltamarik (50), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Not a bad beer, but too pale, not a very appealing texture, and the pumpkin aroma dissipates too quickly. A decent idea, but one done much better by Dogfish Head. Get that instead. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA

Nose is full of nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice… with a hint of pumpkin flesh. Flavor includes allspice, pumpkin pulp, nutmeg and clove. Smooth pumpkin finish. hopdog (5590), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 23, 2006 12oz bottle labeled best before J ’07. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized, quickly dissipating, head. Aromas and tastes of light pumpkins and some spices. Lightly sour / tart. Thin, fizzy and over carbonated body. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Pours a translucent golden/yellow with hints of orange. Pours with a small white bubbly head that went away to nothing quickly. Aroma of some pumpkin, also something tart and almost sour with hints of pumpkin pie spices. Flavor was kind of an artificial pumpkin pie thing over a rather lame low taste ale. Almost thought this was pale lager with some pumpkin spices added. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 31, 2006 Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Yes, we all notice that it’s "with Pumpkin flavor added." Which seems to mean less pumpkin flavor than any beer with pumpkin in the boil or ferment. Attractive light amber color at least, Smell of some indistinct spices. Slightly roasty malts, but the main taste I get is nutmeg and a little cinnamon. No roast pumkpin sweetness or fresh pumpkin veggie taste. Just light spices over an unremarkable ale base. mansquito (829), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 31, 2006 This beer might be a misnomer. It tasted more like a spiced ale, rather than a pumpkin one because of the pumpkin flavour was seriously lacking. I have had only a few other pumkin ales and this one had the least pumpkin flavour. Overall it is not a bad beer, but not pumpkin enough. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

A deep amber color with a little head. The spices where in this beer but where was the pumpkin? A easy to drink beer ut no real good pumpkin flavor. This beer missed the mark. Over produced beer for the masses that taste like it to.
