Clear golden color with lots of bubbles. No head. Aroma is very light raspberry sweetness. Flavor is very sweet smooth raspberry. The fruitiness is light, but clear. Pretty standard raspberry wheat. Maybe a bit better than average.

in bottle from hy-vee council bluffs. pours a dark amber/copper with off-white head. the aroma is candy-sweet synthetic raspberry. the flavor was sickeningly artifcially sweet. almost like they added raspberry syrup as well as flavor. the raspberry flavor crushes the palate, and prevents any other flavor from being discernible. the fake chemical flavor makes the beer displeasing.

This is one of the best balenced Rasberry beers i have ever tasted. i am a huge fan if this one. the beer is a touch on the sweet side, and the rasberry flavor dose not come in strong till the end.

As much as I enjoy the Sea Dog Blue Paw I thought i would love this brew, however this was not the case. The beer was too sweet and the raspberry tasted very artifical. It was not an enjoyable beer, and it only got worse as I finished it. I would try the blue paw if you want a decent introduction to Sea Dog.

Ouch! Gold and headless, this has an artificial, candy fruit aroma that is cloyingly echoed in the flavor. Praise be the gods for liquor stores with single bottle. purchases!

There is a light raspberry aroma and little else. The color is a clear golden. The head is small and rapidly fades away after the initial pour. The flavor of raspberry dominates and is light.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of sugar and raspberry kool-aid. Flavor is weak, kool-aid and sugar. I like the blueberry better.

Pours golden with thin white head. Aroma is a mile sweet artificial raspberry. Flavor is mostly more of the artificial raspberry and sweet, finishes with a little wheat malt in finish. Lots of carbonation. Wasn’t repulsive.
