Lots of nut aroma along with roasted notes and sweet malt aroma. Taste is weak for a porter and the ABV is to low If your going to make a porter make it a porter, but interesting nose and good appearance. drowland (1418), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Pours an amber body with an off white head. Sweet and chewy malt character, caramel light nuttiness and some burnt malt. Eh not so good. BossHossBikes (147), Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a dark burgundy with a soapy tan head. The aroma is of burnt nuts, cocoa, and toffee. The initial flavour is of roasted hazelnut and molasses. As the brew passes the tongue the bitterness of the dry roastiness becomes a little more prominent. Cocoa compliments the hazelnut. Towards the finish, it becomes a little soapy. The finish is lightly bitter. Flavours diminish rather quickly, making this beer somewhat forgettable. This isn’t bad. It starts off decent but falls apart towards the finish.
