| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Pours to a bright orange-yellow with medium thicvk white head that lasts to mid-glass and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is mildly floral hops, and the mouthfeel a lttle thin and slightly tingly. Flavor started out as floral hops, but I could actually taste a hint of apple and citrus fruit toward the end. The finish is okay, but nothing special.
This would make a decent session beer on a hot night. walrus (13), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2004 Good body and flavor for a summer, enough to enjoy with or without hot weather. Neutral, well balanced, no rough edges. No fruit required. cazort (413), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Thin, hoppy, a little light malt flavor present, a little bitter. Tastes like one of the weaker German beers...but too thin, weak. It could be a lot worse...there aren’t any objectionable qualities, it just tastes a tad watered down. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 27, 2006 Beer number 100! Would have liked to commemorate it with a more extrodinary beer, but at least I’ll be able to get it one closer to a percentile rating... And it’s always good to support a local brewery... Anyway... Amber body with half-inch white head. Weak smell with hints of bitterness and citrus maybe? Tastes not too strong with a honey aftertaste and little carbonation. Sweet and very drinkable. Not the best beer I’ve ever had, but definitely a crisp refreshing one good for the end of a hot summer day like today. Dickinsonbeer (3451), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 2, 2004 Light copper/deep gold clear and small head with slight carb. Aroma is sweet and malty. nice subtle malt and hoppy flavor. Not as watered down as other summer ales. Surprisingly this is one of the better offerings from seadog. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 On tap at brewpub in So. Portland. Poured a nice, golden color with a very small, white head. Slightly hazy with no particles. Doesn’t smell too much like a typical summer ale; no real wheat to speak of. Smooth on the palate with a medium-lasting aftertaste, and a nice flavor (some citrus?). Goes down very easy; a good summer beer, but nothing really special to set it apart from all the other summer ales out there. Lizabeth (360), east falmouth, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 30, 2004 Bottle. Dark gold. Smells of lemon and honey and yeasty bread dough. Flavor is lemon, orange, vanilla and a hint of cream. Definitely different.
