deduchar (32), Massachusetts, USA Jul 24, 2006 This is a beer with almost no smell but a nice light flavor. Definitely more enjoyable in the pub, especially from a mug club mug! ruggedman (429), Portland, Maine, USA Apr 13, 2006 Cask at the brewery. This was actually called Bangor Pale (but i was drinking it at bangor...so what a surprise). This serves a pleasant copper color with a nice one finger white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy. This is pretty much your standard beer that you’ve tried a few times before....it’s completely dominated by the crystal malt and cascade hops. I couldn’t get much else out of it. It’s gets an ok rating because it’s so well defined, but then again it loses points because it’s not subtle at all.
