Commercial Description:
A refreshing, straw-colored ale. The intense aromatics of Cascade hops are balanced by the richness of traditional two-row British malted barley. The fruity palate and crisp finish of this top-fermented ale bespeak of its British origins.

Not "summery", as could be implied by calling it a blonde, which it is, in color. Full bodied. Broad flavor. A little to the pale side of neutral.

Not so great. The other two brews I had from sea dog were better than this. But I'm not a fan of summer brews.

The aroma is slightly sweet and malty. The color is golden and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is weak but sweet with notes of strawberries and oranges. It ends on an OK bitterness. The body is quit thin. A fine beer, but nothing special.

Nice golden color, thick long-lasting white head. Herbal, grassy and citrusy aroma with hints hops. Smooth malt flavour with hints flowers, toffee and herbs. Malty and pretty bitter finish. Refreshing and drinkable.

Served on draught in Newport RI. Clear and blonde with a slight whispy head. Light citrus aroma and a slight fruitiness. Very thin palate and super crisp. Good malt flavor but a bit too thin for my taste. A good refreshing summer brew that will quench your thirst but left me a bit unsatisfied.

(355 ml bottle). Deep golden colour, good head. Lovely fruity aroma - some oak and spices too. Malty rounded flavour, still with a great bitterness. Good beer!

(Draught) Thin. Nice deep amber body with lacing white head. Lacking complexity.

A light bodied, slightly crisp beer that has little or no bitterness, save a mild lingering hop/herbal taste toward the end. I can see why some like this beer. It's rather mild.
