Maybe it’s my fridge, but I sometimes get beers that just foam out of control on the pour. (Yes, I’m pouring correctly) Anyways, after waiting the ten minutes or so for the head to die, pour more, die again, pour again, the beer was pretty good. Fairly hoppy, with a good malt balance. Not as flavorful as I expected, but I guess you can’t win them all. pilsnerrogge (1787), Finspång, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2002 Sheer gold with an orange hue. Thick, sticky off white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of Ringwood yeast, pale malts and grassy hops. Crisp body, light to medium feel. Slightly bubbly. Pale and caramel malt base with a smattering of buttery yeast. Not overbearing, but evident. Grassy, floral hop balance. Fairly dry. Easy drinking. Finishes with a subdued buttery flavor and soft English malt sweetness. A good session brew. Earlier Rating: 3/20/2002 Total Score: 3.6 Super clear light gold, some light suspended flecks. Tiny bubbled sticky white head. Moderately heavy carbonation. Telltale Ringwood yeast aroma, light hops. Mellow body, loaded with grassy and floral hoppiness. Nice bitter hoppy aftertaste laced with yeasty fruitiness. Light malt sweetness and a shockingly thick body. Remains full bodied, hoppy and balanced all the way through. Finishes hoppy (never guess it was Cascades) and slick. Solid Blonde Ale, never thought I’d say that. Gotta love what Ringwood yeast can do to a light brew. Merc (313), Pullman, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2002 I thought the aroma was a bit overwhelmingly alcoholic. Nice floral/fruity flavours with a good hop finish. Definately not dry or crisp. A bit on the acidic side. Nice rich palate. I found this beer a bit acidic - but I am worried my bottle may have been a bit old. Gregory (357), Pullman, Washington, USA

It’s mild, has a very nice body for this style beer, and really has some nice flavor. It’s very balanced, with a nice dry finish. This is another one I could drink reguarly. Excellent beer, from an excellent beer city. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
