Seabright Beer 3000

On tap @ The Bistro poured a clear dark amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, pine, citrus and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Tap @ Bistro - Hayward: Clear copper color with a nice off-white head. Strong, thick, musty, ripe hop aroma abounds. Good solid hoppy bitter flavor with a perfumy note added. Not bad!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is very juicy, like a fresh hop beer. Lots of fresh grapefruit. Flavor is initially hoppy and sweet, then evens out to a pale malt finish with some bitterness. Pretty good taste but I’d prefer a sweeter maltiness over the cracker flavor here. Goes down smooth, good carbonation. No alcohol to be found here. Easily Seabright’s best beer that I’ve had.
