Commercial Description:
Just as in baseball, few players get 3000 hits. We reached that milestone with 3000 brews. Twenty years ago hoppy beers were not in style, but times have changed. This hoppy copper colored ale uses Summit, Warrior and Amarillo hops. All English malts were used to balance out the hop profile. Approx. 7.7% alc/vol.

On tap @ The Bistro poured a clear dark amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, pine, citrus and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Tap @ Bistro - Hayward: Clear copper color with a nice off-white head. Strong, thick, musty, ripe hop aroma abounds. Good solid hoppy bitter flavor with a perfumy note added. Not bad!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is very juicy, like a fresh hop beer. Lots of fresh grapefruit. Flavor is initially hoppy and sweet, then evens out to a pale malt finish with some bitterness. Pretty good taste but I’d prefer a sweeter maltiness over the cracker flavor here. Goes down smooth, good carbonation. No alcohol to be found here. Easily Seabright’s best beer that I’ve had.
