Commercial Description:
It's tough trying to be the best around. So we showed no mercy when crafting this Asian stule rice beer. Weighing in at 4.0% alc/vol, this beer is definitely competing in the light-weight division. So obey your Sensei and "wax on" a pint. COBRA KAI WILL NEVER DIE!!! Approx. 4.0% alc/vol.

On tap at Seabright a couple weeks ago, thanks to illidurit for adding this one, I didn’t get the description down in my notes. Light yellow in color, with almost no head. The aroma suprisingly had some sweet fruitiness going on. Reminded me of grape juice, with maybe a little apple thrown in. The flavor is light and fruity. You can definitely taste that the rice has lightened the grain flavors, but there are the same vivid fruit flavors as in the aroma. Very light body, with high carbonation. Not offensive, but for a beer that was meant to be consumed in larger quantities, the fruitiness was a bit overbearing. I was definitely ready for something else after a 12 ounce glass.

Pours palest gold with a watery white head. Little lacing/retention. Light ricey aroma with fruity accents. Flavor is actually pretty nice. Lots of ripe stone fruits provide a pleasant sweetness. The finish however is rice-dominated, like drinking rice paper. I guess that comes with the territory though. Crisp and very clean due to the lightness. Thin body and nice carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable.
