Aroma was light and made of sweet malt and apples with a touch of smoke. Fruity flavor is also a little light. Everything tasted good but the aroma and flavors were on the light side. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Dec 10, 2005 Tasted on tap at the 2005 Pizza Port Strong Ale festival. Medium orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of orange and a little floral hops. A medium to full bodied Barleywine. Malts are fruity and sweet, hints of orange peel with lots of caramel. Hops are slightly citrusy and a touch floral. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Easy drinking Barleywine. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
