Both the aroma and flavor are rich “Willy Wonka-style” rivers of chocolate bliss. Medium to full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and light carbonation. Well-roasted, raspy, and then dry finish. It’s what an oatmeal stout is supposed to be. This brewery “gets it!” yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA

Pours like motor oil and has a great aroma full of spices. Flavor is very malty and has a smooth dry finish. An excellent brew. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Thanks Alan. The beer pours to a black body with a thin tan head. The aroma is really nice. Chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal, sweetened condensed milk, black patent. The flavor is an oatmeal cookie/brownie, seems like toasted coconut, hazelnut or almond, and chocolate. Tangy, dry, medium bodied. SoLan (1423), Orlando, Florida, USA

Very nice nose- roasty malt, creamy dark chocolate, coffee, and a light dose of bitter hops. Similar flavor with a little less impact. Medium body, smooth with just enough carbonation. Very good oatmeal stout.
