Jul 24, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Solid hoppy fruity with a mix of apricot and mild grapefruit. Sweet and solid grapefruity hops flavoured. Slight downplayed bitterness at first, but slowly growing.

Sep 21, 2006 Bottle thanks to tever: Pours a clear golden bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has a lavender, grapefruit hop presence and some sweet caramel malt, but it is all pretty mild. Starts with a good caramel malty sweetness infused with a nice amount of carbonation and fullness of palate toward a bittersweet finish. Not as hoppy as I’d expect with an IPA, but would make a nice APA.

Feb 9, 2004 Light gold color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial India Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruit and citrus, really sort of mild for a DIPA. Nicely balanced, with the malts being a little bit in the forefront. Touch of citrus bite, Smooth tasting. Mouthfeel is full and round, Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

May 2, 2006 Draft. Golden amber beer with a nice white head. Woody, piney hop flavor with light malt backing. Slight citrus/woody aroma. Decent bitterness. Finishes dry. Nothing big about this beer, needs more oomph - especially for a IIPA. Nothing outstanding.

Nov 6, 2007 On tap at brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with a thin bright white head and decent lacing. Very light aroma. Actually I can’t smell anyting out of this glass. The flavor has a brief splash of malt sweetness followed by citrus grapefruit hop bitterness. Not much in the way of late addition hop sweetness. It’s mostly just moderate grapefruit hop bitterness.

Aug 23, 2007 Aroma is fruit and citrus but not over powering. Pours a hazy light orange color. Fruity flavor with a little bit of a sour hop finish. Not as heavy as one would expect from an IPA.
