Pretty generic. Not bad, not good. Just sort of there.

Nice color, poured with a two finger head. A blast of hoppiness to the nose and senses. Of course had to have a second pint of this! People at the bar were very friendly! I don’t know if the recipe changed or my tastes are just out of sync, but I thought this was an excellent IPA. Aroma is grapefruit and citrus hops and a hint of wood, with some caramel malt. Flavor is a nice balance of fairly aggressive hopping with sweet malt backing. Alcohol not noticeable. Quite tasty---rather hoppy, but doesn’t neglect to have an interesting malt character either. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Gold color with a wispy white head. Leaves tons of lacing. Soapy hop aroma. Lemony bitterness with caramel malt underpinning. Kinda tastes like an old IPA that has gone downhill, but it’s from the tap! Average palate.
