Bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours a clear brown amber with a small but lasting tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is nutty with notes of caramel, sweet malt, and a hint of roasted malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and sweet malty finish. Very good.

Pours brown with a tan head. Smells earthy and sweet. Tastes of sweet malt, some earthy hints, dark fruity touches with a sweet finish.

12oz bottle. Really disappointed with this one. I suspect that the bottle I got was handled improperly as it tasted damaged. Very little carbonation or head. Tasted off.

12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a slight reddish tint (more noticable as the level in the glass goes down). Few bubbles, although it did produce a delicious burp. Aroma is quite appetizing and thirst producing. There’s some fruit in the aroma, I want to say it’s apricot. Slight roasted grain and slight hop tang also present. There isn’t a great deal of flavor, everything is somewhat muted (or subtle). Beer is very balanced, at first I thought the hops were stronger and now I’m liking the malt. Another extremely quaffable brew from Sebago. Yay beer!

Deep brown ber with a thin white head. The nose is lightly sweet with a bit of light cocoa and a touch of soft caramel malt. The beer is fairly sweet, but still has a decent amount of malt complexity. The light caramel works well with the cocoa, and there is just enough lightly earthy hoppiness to balance it out. Pretty solid brown ale, really.

A: Poured with a small, but lasting, tan head. Fair lacing. Body was clear and a dark-brown color. S: Heavy malt here... seems like there’s some roasted coffee, and maybe some light tones of chocolate as well. T: Taste is slightly watery and bland, but manages to sneak in some sweet malt, before it finishes lightly bitter and dry. Almost like it’s not sure what it wants to do, but there’s some goodness fighting against the bland. M: Light-bodied, fairly, with something that’s between creaminess and oiliness. Average carbonation. D: It’s not a bad brown, but it’s not great either. Maybe a little tweaking will bump it up a few notches? Definitely worth trying; I think the enjoyable aspects outweigh the odd.

Pours clear amber with tan head. The aroma is roasted malts, nuttiness and caramel. The taste has nice roasted maltiness moving into nuttiness and then earthiness. It ends with plenty of caramel notes and more nuttiness. Pretty nice tasting brown.
