adrian910ss (1395), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2009 On draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber with a creamy medium sized beige head. Aroma of honey, malts and hops. Taste of honey, malts and hops. kramer (2407), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 26, 2009 On tap, at brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy dull copper body with a one finger frothy off-white head. The nose is biscuity malt with a moderate English hoppiness and a touch of yeast. Floral hoppy flavor with minimal bitterness overlays a doughy and biscuity malt base that finishes rather short. Medium bodied with moderate soft fizzy carbonation. Playing with the water chemistry might help a bit when it comes to the heft on the tongue, but it doesn’t seem to affect the flavor in a noticable way. Decent, and certainly drinkable but it didn’t stand out to me.
