Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 25, 2009 Draft at Selins Grove Brewpub. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Sweet grainy malt bill, creamy corn and vegetative, grainy and simple. I did not like this. TomDecapolis (3122), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 12, 2009 Tap at Selins Grove. Pours a translucent golden with a medium creamy white lacing head. Aroma of creamed corn, light citrus and cereal grains. Flavor of banana, corn, citrus and cereal grains. Kind of on the sweet side. beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA May 28, 2009 Tap @ the brewpub and a wonderful surprise, probably the best damn Cream Ale I ever had. Color is lightly hazy dark straw with visible carbonation. Has a medium sized head that never fully fades. Aroma is strong white biscuit maltiness with some sweat pea (in a good way, which may be putting the "cream’ aspect into this beer). Some light hops coming through. Flavor is what one should expect, some indistinct hops and a clean white bread maltiness. Simple, refreshing, and good. This was perfect for the outdoor seating at Selins Grove on a hot spring day. adrian910ss (1393), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 25, 2009 On draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium white head. Aroma of orange peel, zesty lemon, corn and yeast. Taste of corn malts, orange peel, zesty lemon and grains. Beerapprentice (110), Hopatcong, New Jersey, USA May 18, 2009 Pours a light yellow colour with small white head. Tastes of corn malts, light lemon flavour and citrus. Light aroma of citrus and lemon. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 20, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a slightly cloudy yellow gold with a white head. The aroma was lightly malty and dry with a touch of citrus. The flavor was tart, tangy and sweetish with a lemony undertone and a long tart finish. Easily the best cream ale that I have had. tronraner (1905), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Mar 2, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. Pours hazy straw yellow with thin white head. The aroma is lemon and grains and a few peppery spice notes. The flavor is very grainy, with some sweet fruity yeast. It takes on a serious cornmeal taste toward the finish. Pretty well made, but cream ales aren’t my thing. pjweaver (133), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 4, 2009 Sample platter. Very little aroma, with a golden offwhite head. Golden in class with minimal clouding. Red fruit and cream with hints of peach on the tongue. Silky palate, overall enjoyable.
