kramer (2407), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 14, 2006 On tap at brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy dark copper with a small tight creamy beige head. A very nice EKG hop aroma over a light biscuity malt base with light fruitiness. Flavor is moderately bitter with a soft lightly malty base and very clean EKG flavor. Mouthfeel is very soft with minimal fine carbonation, extremely creamy texture. Very good, not in your face, but a great session beer as it is meant to be. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Jun 16, 2005 Golden copper-amber, slight fusel Sharpie smell with mix of floral and apricot jelly aromas. Small, fine, diminishing head. Sweet, apricot-honey begining with grassy, floral hop bite ending with peachy note. Interesting. wunderbier (1264), Tampere, Finland Apr 18, 2005 Deep amber hue with a light haze and moderate visible carbonation. White, creamy head. Caramel, slightly fruity ester profile, earthy hops, bready malt. Light to moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. The bottom line is: clean and average...but there’s a...rustic mustiness in the flavor which is probably hit or miss with many people. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Mar 1, 2005 Light amber color with low carbonation small head and good lace. Served only slightly chilled- almost room temp. Aroma is a perfect balance between english malts and hops. Sweet flavor with hints of caramel, and lots of earthy spicy and slightly floral hops. Great session beer.
