kramer (1868), sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 12, 2006 On nitro at brewpub. Pours a cloudy brown with a 1cm mass of creamy light brown head. Sweet and fruity aroma with caramel malt, light banana, yeast, and some bubblegum. Lighter in flavor, very well balanced. Very fruity with bananas and a drying yeast character on the finish. Lighter bodied with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel due to the nitro, thus minimal to no carbonation. A very smooth and drinkable Brown Ale. By nature, the style is modest at best, but this is a great session beer. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Jan 24, 2004 Nitro draft. This has the heaviest body of any brown I've tried. Super smooth and nice and dark. Even the nitro can't hide the dark toasty hazelnuts and pecans. This would be fantastic off nitro. As it stands, this is still damn good!
